A/C and heat are usually controlled by a thermostat, but what about a personal fan?  Why not have the fan automatically turn on and off, based on the temperature of the room?  Brandon's design regulates the operation of the fan based on a custom designed thermostat.

Brandon's design uses temperature sensors and the Atmega328 chip from an Arduino to regulate fan operation.  Brandon soldered his circuit using a perf board and he designed and 3D printed housing for the unit.
